Getting ready for the trip of a lifetime!  Breckenridge Colorado is absolutely lovely and they have such a terrific arts community and program.  I'm going to paint for two weeks, and concentrate on a series "Atmospheric Perspective" with work drawn from photographs I have taken of mountaintops, roads and foliage.  Here's what I'm doing today, stretching canvas for the trip!

Gathering the necessary tools for canvas stretching.

Pulling the canvas tight at all sides at the same time, securing with staples.

Checking to make sure its all secure and square.

Tightly pulling the corners and wrapping them so they are flat.

Not so hard, stretching canvas is very rewarding!
